Girls just wanna have fun

Welp, last week I didn't have any language lessons until Friday, when I got to hear all about Delia's amazing tropical vacation, which made me so jealous, but I'm probably adding those islands off the coast of Spain to my list of places to go.  So my language for the week was reading! :]  I read 11 chapters of Rascumparare before our lesson & I told her all about what happened in Romanian.  So since I didn't have any lessons, most of my afternoons were free to go to the baby hospital & I went on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  Andrei, my little cuddle buddy, is in foster care now, along with a couple others, and it's hard to see them go even though I know it's better for them.

On Wednesday, me, Jess, Hannah, & Tom went to see Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D at the mall for like 3 bucks each!  It was so good of course & 3D made it so much better!  After the movie, we went back to the Graef's started working on our surprise for Tom & Gela.  Went sent Gela to get a pedicure, and Tom to move some furniture, and started cleaning the house and setting the table with red & white themed table cloth, candles, and dishes.  I cooked them a scrumptious meal of chicken alfredo fettuccine, garlic bread, salad, and some banana dessert that Gela had already made earlier for that night not knowing we were taking over dinner.  When they got home, we made them go upstairs & get dressed up, and then we served them their food as Dave played guitar for them.  I think they enjoyed it & it was fun serving them & giving them a night off!

3D glasses are pretty hott huh?

Random, but this was what I found to be the cause of a terribly loud noise outside my bedroom window... they we're drilling into the asphalt and breaking it up.  Oh noisy city life...

We had our 2nd to last Bible study this Friday, which as always was a great time of fellowship & teaching.  Tom is gifted at explaining complicated deep theological stuff to make it all make sense to people to haven't studied it like he has, and I've learned so much from his teaching at Bible study.  On Saturday, we had a girl's party for Lisiana who is getting married this coming weekend!  I love all these girls & it was so much fun hanging out with them practically all day playing "Never have I ever," Limbo, eat the apple on a string, & watching Bride Wars.  And of course all the girl talk. :]
You have to put down a finger for every time you've done something someone else hasn't

"Linia de Foc" or Line of Fire haha

Simona's face is priceless!

Catalin was asked questions about their relationship, and we ask Lisiana the same ones to see if they matched up!

Yummy!

My gorgeous bride-to-be friend :]

Love these girls!

Tom preached Sunday at church, and even though it was all in English, it's still so hard to concentrate when it's so hot!  They supposedly have the AC on and there are a couple of fans running, but church has been burning up for the past couple weeks, which doesn't help my brain with translating!  For the past couple weeks I've helped the design team at church to decorate and clean the church.  I've been recruited to be the one who stands on the ladder to hang stuff from the ceiling since I'm tall and am not afraid to climb to the top!  On Sunday I ate dinner at the Graef's with the Parmalee's, the couple who got here last Friday & came from the states to help with the VBS next week.  Then we rode our bikes to the park where the boys played soccer & us girls hung out and pretended to cheer for them, as usual.
Don't you love how all the boys with longer hair put it in a pony tail sticking straight up on their heads?

We're pretty much awesome cheerleaders :]
